Widener University’s College of Arts and Sciences Humanities Division invites applications for a one semester sabbatical replacement Teaching Fellow in French and Francophone Studies beginning in January 2023. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and a knowledge of current trends and research in their field(s). Teaching duties will include Elementary French II and Intermediate French II, both taught using the OER Français Interactif and the videochat platform TalkAbroad. In addition, the successful candidate will teach a 300-level course in French on a topic related to Francophone literature to students majoring and minoring in French or taking the course as an elective for general education. The ability for this third course to contribute to racial-ethnic studies and/or gender studies would be welcomed. |
